Since 2020, my assignments have been carried out as an independent contractor.
My previous experiences were as a salaried employee, unless stated otherwise.
Next week: for your company?
Let's talk :-)
Feb 2025: Confidential
Part-time assistance to the IT service
July - Sept 2023: InCube
Part-time replacement of the DevOps engineer during his vacation,
managing the current infrastructure, and auditing to improve overall operations.
2023 - March 2024: Confidential
System engineering mission focused on Linux.
Since March 2021: Rentavilla
Simplified an overly complex Docker-based infrastructure (standard web model - front-end, back-end, database), making it easier to maintain.
Optimized resources, freed up disk space, improved security, removed public access to certain services,
boosted performance, created and optimized backups, debugged, etc.
Ongoing maintenance and monitoring of the new infrastructure.
March 2021 - June 2022: Preligens
I intervened for a project to regain control of company services by internalizing them,
creating a new, more sovereign IT system in a fast-growing environment.
Centralized part of the infrastructure management, improved overall security and data sovereignty.
Conducted an analysis of the existing system, identified needs, proposed solutions, and helped implement technical solutions.
Contributed to the creation of a multi-host, resilient, and scalable infrastructure.
Managed employee authentication centralization using OpenLDAP and Keycloak.
Also handled various user support and automation tasks.
Sept 2020 - Feb 2021: Artifakt
Wrote technical articles in English as part of their website relaunch.
Since 2020: Bistri
Bistri offers video call services using the WebRTC protocol for secure, encrypted communications without intermediaries.
I migrated infrastructure from AWS/EC2 Ireland to physical servers in France, addressing high-availability challenges.
I also manage and maintain the infrastructure part-time following the migration.
[2 years] 2018 - 2020: Sysdream
Sysdream is an IT security company offering primarily audit (pentesting) and offensive security training services.
I was hired to manage the company’s IT services.
I worked in full autonomy in this role.
My responsibilities included:
Managing physical servers and hypervisors
Maintaining around 60 virtual machines and several Docker containers
Proposing, implementing, and maintaining internal services
Rationalizing and renewing equipment
Handling procurement and stock management of machines, equipment, and IT consumables
Providing user support (setting up machines, installing software, troubleshooting, etc.)
Major projects included:
Automating workstation setup for audit and report writing (PASSI certification context)
Automating the reinstallation of training workstations (full reinstall after each session) on Ubuntu
Completely renewing aging technical infrastructure (hardware, hypervisors, switches, routers) with full autonomy
[4 years] 2014 - 2018: Bistri
Bistri provides video call services, accessible through a simple web browser.
I was hired to manage the company’s technical infrastructure.
Due to the small team size (4 employees), this role evolved into adjacent areas (commercial proposals, technical architecture, etc.).
Some key responsibilities included:
Taking over the existing infrastructure and learning the technologies in use (Tomcat, NodeJS, AWS, etc.)
Maintaining infrastructure, managing backups, and regular optimization
Setting up and managing new internal and client projects on the infrastructure side
Managing software deployments via Docker on macOS (Docker Compose wasn’t as well-known back then!)
Handling client projects and providing support
[1 year] 2012 - 2013: La Banque Postale (Apprenticeship)
Do I need to introduce La Banque Postale?
Main mission: software testing (installing MSI packages via GPO).
Secondary mission: extracting data from multiple GPOs on different servers and processing the information into a general, clear format in a spreadsheet (Powershell, VBA, AD, etc.).
I also wrote my thesis on the topic: "The Challenges of Large-scale Production Deployment."
[~1 year cumulative] 2010 - 2013: Internships
I completed several internships during my studies:
2012: CWF (Textile Company), 4 months
I participated in the IT department’s operations and R&D,
primarily working on Cisco products (ASA) and the Radius protocol.
I set up centralized authentication on Cisco network equipment via FreeRadius, acting as a proxy for AD.
2011: MBP (Ink Cartridge Recycling), 3 months
I assisted the IT manager in providing IT support for the company, spread across several sites.
Involved in infrastructure upgrades, user support, and routine IT tasks.
2010: Oniris (Veterinary and Food Science School), 2 months
My mission was in the context of merging two schools, focusing on managing new challenges (student numbers, classes, etc.) on a Moodle platform.
I modified the platform’s code to improve usability and better align with the school's educational framework.
Other - Socio-Cultural Animation
During a few school vacations when I wasn’t interning,
I worked in associations as a youth and adolescents sociocultural animator.
